Timeline guide to help plan your cookbook project
Plan your cookbook project in time for an event or celebration.
You can create and have your printed books delivered in as little as 6 weeks. To work out how long you need, check out our recommended timeline.
-
Step 1. Collecting & editing recipes
1-2 WEEKS
Invite others via your dashboard menu to help edit as you add and/or receive recipes into your dashboard library.
-
Step 2. Local support
SAME TIME AS COLLECTING AND EDITING RECIPES.
If you’re creating a cookbook to sell or share with your community, an option is to request local businesses to place an ad in your cookbook. This helps to offset the cost of printing your books.
-
Step 3. Choose template and import
1-3 BUSINESS DAYS
Included in the Community package, we import your recipes and personal images, in chapter order, into your chosen template.
Invite others via your dashboard menu (as a designer) to help with the final touches. -
Step 4. Final touches & Place order
1-2+ WEEKS
Upload any additional images and text you would like to feature. You can also ‘search and select’ food images from our library from inside your layout.
Collaborate with our team members inside your layout if you need help with creating collages etc.
Once you’re ready, place an order via the dashboard.
-
Step 5. Sign off and print production
1-2 BUSINESS DAYS
Once payment is received, a team member design-checks your book ready for sign-off.
Artwork is created, uploaded to the printer who checks it prior to print production.
-
Step 6. Print & shipping
2-3 WEEKS*
For locally printed books. *Refer to our instant quote calculator to confirm turnaround based on your book selection as printing large quantities is cheaper done offshore but shipping is much longer.
Once you receive your books, check the total quantity and that there is no transit damage before distribution. Refer to our terms and conditions.
