A few popular keywords they live by are the Danish word ‘Hygge’. The closest translation is to feel cosy, relaxed, happy, content, and just simply being. The Swedish word ‘lagom’ means “not too little and not too much; just right” and is a huge part of the Swedish culture, and ‘Fika’ is the Swedish word for “coffee break” and means more about socializing than drinking coffee and includes eating a snack too like cinnamon buns, cakes, cookies, and open-faced sandwiches.
